in Moscow, this exotic beauty is known more for the waves
she makes then the victories she wins on the tennis courts.
Currently living in Florida, Anna has been consistently
ranked in the top 20 in the WTA tour rankings yet at the
same time she has never won a professional singles tournament.
While her serve may be weak her nose for media attention
is not; her life is constantly the subject of idol gossip
and she is always making profile appearances with her
personal life. A number of her relationships have featured
prominently in the tabloid press across the world. She
has made the covers of many magazines, many of them with
less than tennis-like proportions (such as Sports Illustrated).

has had on small role in one movie; she was a hotel manager
in a film called “Me, Myself and Irene” (starring
Jim Carrey) in 2000. We might see more of Anna because
in September of 2003 she sustained an injury to her lower
