Anita's
career started when she was elected Miss Sweden in 1950.
Then she started making movies with Universal taking small
but glamorous parts. After five years in Hollywood she
found herself in Rome, where here big break came in Federico
Fellini's Dolce vita, La in1960. She stayed in Italy and
made around 20 movies during the next ten years. She received
just as much attention for her two divorces.

Anita's
career started to plunge, and she practically disappeared
from American screens by the early 1970s, and made only
periodic appearances in European films. She resurfaced
in Hollywood, considerably overweight, to appear in class
B-Movies, some of which became cult-classics.
