Anne
Hathaway was born in Brooklyn, her father is an attorney
and her mother was an actress,
but she gave up her career to take care of anne and her
two brothers. According to anne, she
was sort of a jock growing up. Her favorite sports are
baseball (believe it or not) and
soccer. Her favorite baseball team is the New York Yankees
(smart girl). Anne studied acting
at the Paper Mill Playhouse in New Jersey where she landed
some of her first roles. Her big
break came when she played Meghan on Fox's "Get Real".
Her first
starring role on television performance earned her a
nomination as best actress
for the 2000 Teen Choice awards, as well as a nomination
for best performance in a television
series for the 2000 Young Artists awards. Other accomplishments
of this talented young beauty
include being the first teenager to be admitted to The
Barrow Group in New York City, and
performing as first soprano in two concerts given at
Carnegie Hall by the All Eastern U.S.
High School Honors Chorus. (she not only acts but sings?,
now that's what I call talent!).

Besides
having a great singing voice, she plays the trumpet and
speaks conversational french.
Currently she's taking a semester off college to pursue
her rising career as an actress. Her
major is English and her minor is women's studies, although
she has not declared them yet.
She would like to be a psychologist or an English professor
or a writer if this acting thing
doesn't work out for her (now this, I seriously doubt).
