Anne
recieved her first big break in acting when she was cast
in the French film, Un amour de sable (1977) Since then
she has gone on to star in the hit film Nikita (1990)
This film spawned a television show under the same name
as well as an American version of that film called 'Point
of No Return' staring Bridget Fonda. She was once romantically
involved with French film-maker Luc Besson and they have
a daughter together. Today she is involved with Jean-Michel
Jarre who is a musican and a poet. She has moved to the
United States for work but commutes back and forth from
Paris, France.

When
she speaks to reporters during interviews she is a very
private person. She is also very passionate and very serious
about life and has a very hard time lightening up. However,
at the same time she can also be very impulsive and not
think before she acts. But when she chooses a film role
she does it because of the way it makes her feel. She
also selects her projects based on the directors working
on them. She likes directors that are original and not
afraid of taking the material further than expected. She
believes that film should be about art also and not just
about money.
