Barbara
got her start as a cheerleader in high school and a pop
singer as a teenager. Barbara will always be known as
the character Jeannie in “I Dream of Jeannie”.
Before this though Barbara had to get small parts on films
such as “How to Marry a Millionaire”. She
published her autobiography, Barbara Eden: My Story, in
October1986.

Barbara
is the type of actress that got a varied amount of work,
and unlike some of the girls that started work in the
1950s she is still acting. She continues to get film and
TV spots to this day, but she is never able to shake the
role she had on “I Dream of Jeannie” and to
this day still get small walk on parts on sitcoms and
on talks shows to talk about Hollywood and the acting
scene has changed over the years.
