Cynthia
started her enrolment in entertainment at the tender age
of 14 when she acted in a movie called “Little Darlings”,
while at the same time she was working on plays on Broadway.
Later graduating from Barnard College in 1988 with a B.A.
in English, Cynthia continued to work in Broadway plays
while she was a freshman.
Cynthia has been nominated for various awards. She is
best known for her portrayal of the character Miranda
Hobbs in the infamous HBO sex-sitcom “Sex In The
City”. Airing in 1998, this long running series
has done a lot for Cynthia’s career.

Cynthia
made the news again when she broke up with her long time
male partner, supposedly replacing him with a woman. When
asked about this she neither denied nor confirmed this
rumer, instead stating that "My private life is private.
But at the same time, I have nothing to hide. So what
I will say is that I am very happy." Cynthia has
never been married.
