"I'm
more proud of my upper body. Let's just say I'm
a typical female in that way." |

Erika
Christensen was raised in Los Angeles and acting jobs
were easy to find for this talented actress. She got a
television commercial for McDonalds and then her big break
came when she got a part on the revived Leave it to Beaver
television show in 1997. Not many people know this but
she is also a very talented singer. She is very outspoken
on many different social causes including the Ronald McDonald
Childrens' Charities. Recently her roles in Swimfan and
Traffic have shown the range of her talent. One of the
toughest characters to play as an actor is one that is
addicted to something. In Traffic she is addicted to drugs
and in Swim Fan she is addicted to a boy.

Although
she takes such roles she says this about drug use: "I
can't say enough about how I'm against drugs. Be smart,
think about it, look at what it does to people, look at
how much you have to experience in life and be courageous
enough to do everything you want to without that chemical
help." She won an MTV music award for her role in
Traffic also.
