Eva
Mendes has lived between Los Angeles and Miami for most
of her life even though she was originally from Houston,
Texas. Before she began acting she went to California
State University but decided to drop out and persue a
career in acting. Many people think she is Mexican but
in fact she is from Cuba. Like many other Cuban-American
stars her parents moved to the United States before the
Cuban Revolution. Her second passion in life next to acting
is interior design. She was studying marketing it in school
before she dropped out and can fall back on it if her
acting career doesn't work out.
