Born
a little latter than all the other girls, Geena stood
out in her youth. After high school, Geena entered New
England College in New Hampshire and then transferred

drama. In 1979, she graduated and moved to New York to
start looking for work. After getting some Mc-Jobs she
was singed by the Zoli Agency, eventually working as a
model in the Victoria Secret's Catalogue.
As happens to many talented models, Geena was spotted
and cast in the movie “Tootsie”, made in 1982.
Geena them moved to Los Angeles where she was cast as
the character Wendy in the short running Television Series
"Buffalo Bill". Her next successful role wasn’t
created until being cast with Chevy Chase in “fletch”
in 1985. Hits followed, including “The Fly”
in 1986, “The Accidental Tourist” in 1988,
and “Beetlejuice” that same year.
