When
Hilary was 6 she had been traveling in the Cechetti Ballet
with her sister Haylie, but decided she wanted get into
showbiz. Instead of getting into dance or music Hilary
chose acintg, and she made her television debut in the
TV mini-series “True Women”. Hilary’s
first starring role was as the character Ellie in the
television show “The Soul Collector” in 1999.
Branching out into video Hilary starred in “Casper
Meets Wendy” in 1998.

Hilary
got a real chance to shine when she picked up the lead
role of Lizzie McGuire in the #1 Disney Channel Hit Series
"Lizzie McGuire" in 2001. In 2003 after several
seasons Hilary returned as the same character in her film
debut with “The Lizzie McGuire Movie”. She
has also starred in the move “A Cinderella Story”
and “Raise Your Voice”.
