Hollywood
can be accused of a lot of things, but being modest isn’t
one of them. Perhaps if Jane had been modest she never
would have gotten into show business (or trouble with
the censors of the day). Howard Hughes (the eccentric
casino owner and aviation mogul) liked Jane cleavage and
decided that it should star in a movie (which of course
never got shown to the public).
Jane of course kept her wits about her and tried hard
to become more then just a sex symbol. Her talent for
acting, singing, and comedy helped and soon she began
a career in show business. A native of California, Jane
was in the right place in the right time (i.e. the 1950s).
Jane loved to act and be seen by the public and it showed
in her work. It took some time after her first movie,
but eventually around 1952 Jane’s career started
to skyrocket.
